The Great American Fast

What Is It?

The Great American Fast is a calling together of the American Christian to seek God on behalf of our wounded nation.

While fasting is preferred, it is not necessary. The emphasis is on prayer.

TGAF has been represented by people from 28 states and 12 foreign nations. We would love to have you be part!

When Is It?

The Fast is always held the second weekend of September. The Pennsylvania weather is usually near-perfect that time of year, and offers beautiful scenery during the late summer month.

This year's fast will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 12th, and continue through Saturday, September 13th at 6:00 PM.

Where Is It?

The Fast will be held at the Lamar Lighthouse Camp in Lamar, PA. Free lodging is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Situated in a beautiful rural setting, the camp boasts cabins, a dorm, a dining hall, a large classroom and a newly built tabernacle for worship.

Why Is It?

Our nation has long since been under attack by the enemy. The Christian is the only force in the world that can counteract him.

It's time for God's people to rise and reclaim our rightful place - and our country. Time is running out.
